CASE STUDY: HOW WE HELPED A CHRISTIAN COUNSELOR LAUNCH INTO THE INDUSTRY

Divinely Centered Biblical Counseling

Web Design

ABOUT THE BRAND

Divinely Centered Biblical Counseling is a privately owned boutique-styled counseling center that offers professional, Christ-centered, biblically-based counseling services to adolescents and adults (mainly women). They help those seeking hope and guidance navigate life's journey through all phases of life.

THE PROBLEM

This client and has a long-term relationship with SoLIFE Media, but in this new season, she was ready to launch her new Christian counseling service: Divinely Centered Biblical Counseling (affectionally referred to as DCBC). This boutique-style, Christ-centered counseling service for adolescents and adults—primarily women—seeking hope and guidance. Being completely new to the space, the founder needed a professional, welcoming online presence that would resonate with a faith-based audience, communicate expertise, and establish trust. With no previous website or visual standards (beyond a simple 2-color palette and established fonts), this project was truly built from the ground up.

Problem Overview:

  • New Business, No Existing Website

  • Nonexistent Brand Messaging

  • Brand Identity & Web Presence Needed

THE SOLUTION

From the jump, we knew we needed to establish DCBC a home online. This meant creating a website that authentically reflected the counseling center’s unique blend of professional therapy and biblical principles. After thorough questioning, we created our design strategy for our new online hub…

Visual & Brand Consistency: Develop a cohesive brand identity to bring personality to the established logo—expanded color palette, typography, and iconography—that would resonate with the target demographic.

User-Friendly Navigation: Ensure prospective clients can easily learn about services, the counseling approach, and how to schedule appointments.

Reflect Warmth & Professionalism: Convey a safe, supportive atmosphere for visitors exploring sensitive personal issues.

Solution Overview

  • Design Strategy

  • Logo Vectorization—refined into a scalable vector graphic for consistent application across platforms

  • Branding and Visual Identity—expanded color palette, icons, brand personality

  • Website

THE CREATIVE APPROACH

Brand Personality:

Warm | Compassionate | Supportive | Uplifting | Faith-Centered | Nurturing | Trustworthy | Approachable | Encouraging

A Hub for the Healing. We wanted to build something authentic to communicate trust and professionalism to her prospective clients.

Visual Branding & Aesthetics: The original palette included two primary colors: Purple and Peach. We expanded this palette to include complementary shades of lavender, soft greens, and muted neutrals for backgrounds, overlays, and accent elements. This broader range of colors allows for more depth and visual variety across the site, without losing the brand’s central warmth and femininity.

Iconography & Brand Symbols: We developed a set of matching icons to extend the brand’s visual language, tying in the dove-and-hand motif (symbolizing support, peace, hope, and divine guidance).

Strategic Website Approach & User Experience:

  • Faith-Based Storytelling: Incorporation of gentle biblical references in headings and copy ties the counseling service back to its Christ-centered mission without overwhelming the design. The strategic use of faith-inspired language resonates with the target audience, who seek both professional expertise and spiritual alignment.

  • Warm & Inviting Aesthetics: The use of soft, gradient washes of purples, peaches, and subtle neutrals on the website instantly created a soothing, calm environment. Photography highlights real people in comforting settings—symbolizing connection, healing, and growth.

  • Intuitive Structure: Clear navigation menu guides visitors to key sections while prominent “Book a Session” or “Find Your Peace” calls-to-action help convert curious visitors into potential clients.

  • Service Clarity: Service pages outline counseling offerings, highlighting how biblical principles integrate with clinical methods. Easy-to-read blocks cater to visitors who may be experiencing emotional distress and want straightforward information.

  • Responsive Design & Accessibility: The layout adjusts seamlessly across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices, ensuring a consistent user experience. Accessible font sizes, contrasting colors, and clear labeling make the site welcoming to all visitors, including those with visual impairments or other accessibility needs.

TRANSFORMATION

With Divinely Centered Biblical Counseling, we not only built a brand-new website from scratch—we shaped the entire brand identity around the client’s unique vision of Christ-centered therapy. By spotlighting its Christ-centered methodology and professional expertise, the DCBC now differentiates itself from general counseling practices. Integrating warm, feminine aesthetics, faith-based language, and professional counseling cues, helped us create a welcoming online space that invites prospective clients to begin their journey toward healing and hope. Calls-to-action, easy navigation, and clearly outlined services guide visitors toward booking an appointment, turning website traffic into real leads.

Branding & Marketing Problems Solved:

  1. Brand Recognition

  2. Credibility & Trust

  3. Clear Positioning

  4. User Engagement & Conversion

  5. Foundational Framework for Growth

With a robust website in place, DCBC can now think towards the future—expand offerings, add online counseling options, and even integrate content marketing or e-courses in the future.

The cohesive look, strategic layout, and thoughtful brand elements ensure DCBC stands out in a crowded market, laying the groundwork for long-term success and meaningful client relationships.
